Luk 2:49 Didn’t you know that I must be in my Father’s business ?”

Yesterday I wrote about the significance of bar mitzvah in a western culture which highlights to me the meaning of one’s purpose.

Many thanks for your response by pressing like as the message came from deep within my soul.

Today I want to focus on the statement Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

Most people wouldn’t associate the kingdom of God as business. I know that churches in some countries operate in the same way as secular business.
Here in England most churches are charities, which can’t profit from the churches income, the point I want to bring out here is, the ethics of business if used with integrity would first benefit the consumer then the retailer afterward which is a good trade off.

Business is trading gaining through service, skills, creativity or investments that sustains a economy. As we know what Steve job thought about the iPhone, being so relevant to every day life and personal management, maybe that’s why the phone is so successful, it’s a win for the consumer also a win for the company. That’s fare business .

Luk 19:12 Therefore He said: “A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return.

Luk 19:13 “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten pounds, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’

Some biblical versions say (occupy till I come) which means the same thing.

I know it’s just a parable but the point is so significant, God want us to keep on trading with the investment he has placed on us. What do I have that I can give to you?
What do you have that I need?
This is kingdom economics
Blogging is a great trading place I’ve learnt so much from you guys I feel so culture that my own prejudice are slowly fading away…..

When Jesus sat with the people in the temple reasoning it was a big trade off , listening and learning from each other, even the older men were blown away by the boys understanding.

Luke 2:47 All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.

There was no dispute, no pride or arrogance displayed in reference to age , knowledge or experience.
No manipulation but simply a trading of questions answers, that lead to deep reflection, so all could benefit.

On my about page I wrote an important point about this, which is a major “core value ” that governs my life & how I engage people.

In conclusion we are all on the same journey but at different stops, being of service to some one just make the whole journey exciting knowing that God is being glorified as we treasure our passions through our service to others.
