What is the currency of the kingdom of God?

Over the past few post I’ve being covering things related to the kingdom of God as I believe it’s a topic that will help the church in western world to get a grip with Gods authentic culture that’s transcends what the media , tv and technology is pumping into our heads.
Every kingdom has it own culture, principles relating to how we life together as citizens of that kingdom
If we look at the world at large every nations economy is based on natural resources , car manufacturing , technology , financial services and so on
But what is the economy of Gods kingdom based on ?

“Lets take a look at scriptures”

Jhn 1:16 From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another.
Jhn 1:17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

What I have learnt over the years studying this subject is the fact that Gods Grace & truth is the currency within the kingdom here on earth, we don’t live by the law any more ( understand what I’m saying) The law only stands as the shadow, heb 10:1 the frame work with brought us to salvation in christ, the Apostle Paul spoke often about the riches of his Glory “meaning Christ” Eph:17-19 to benefit us here and now on earth!
I know there is a belief that the kingdom is something to come but jesus said ” the kingdom doesn’t come by human observation for the kingdom is with in you! luke17:20

The beatitudes are the basic principle of the kingdom that govern our intention not actions
God is concerned with the issues of the human heart knowing, if his loving grace reaches our heart first, actions wouldn’t be a problem at all

So going back to the point of currency Which is about the value we place on the things of God and the significance we give them in our lives
The natural resources in the kingdom of God is the Gifts the lord has given us to serve one another

Rom 12:3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.

Rom 12:6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his [fn] faith.

Do you know what your spiritual Gift are?
Do you know the bible tell us when we recognise these gifts we should use them , if the opportunity isn’t there the bible says we should wait
One thing I’ve learnt about leadership and ministry is when we aren’t active in ministry or service we should spent time learning new things, talking to different people especially fine tune these passions like David was before he became king of israel , he was tending to sheep , playing his instrument being a worshiper of the true and living God , being responsible for what was entrusted to him

what value can we place on the things of God even still the gifts that he has given?
1Ti 4:14 Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you.

1Ti 4:15 Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.

1Ti 4:16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

If we can’t question our life and doctrines how can we persevere and how can we bring salvation to our hearers?

In closing , kingdom economics is about resources not money, our currency in the kingdom consist of Grace, truth and the gifts we recognise and use to serve others rom 5:17 this has revolutionised my thinking about the abundance of grace we receive in Christ which is founded on the amazing gift of righteousness , we are Gods mouth , eyes and hands to reach a dying world with love , acceptance , forgiveness and the administration Gods amazing Grace.

I hope you got something for this study of the kingdom of God , may the lord give eyes to see and ears to hear,
For more interest: hope isn’t a tedious journey ! and my blessing to you

Nuff love , pjgracecommunity
