Biblical history has set an amazing platform for us to learn from considering the times we are living in.
However the sense of conflict is apparent on different levels ~ political, economical, Spiritual in regards to religion knowing that groups of believers & religions can’t agree.
Are you tired of any on going conflict?
How does the Israeli, Palestine
Conflict make you feel?
Even the unexpected election result.
Well for me, the sense that our lord will return any time now is heavily impressed on me, i believe you to. However my aim isn’t to be bog down with strife fighting knowing I’ve pledged my allegiance to Christ not a culture or country.
The bible says that many not few will be offend and betrayed one another ~ the sense of pride,
Cast out the bond woman & her son…
The bond women is the spirit of human pride ~ the identity in opposition to the promise of faith not works ~ this spirit will try to persecute you so you miss the beauty & splendour of Gods Grace as some become bitter ~ right there in the sight of God & man
If your nation is divided then we need to no longer encourage it, just seek peace through prayer. However I’m very much aware in the flesh we could never agree
Humbling ourself and praying is the key
2chron 7:14
Gal 4:22 For it is written that Abraham had two sons: the one by a bondwoman, the other by a freewoman.
Gal 4:23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born according to the flesh, and he of the freewoman through promise,
In conclusion
The flesh or human effort will burn out becoming tired in need of Grace . However as Paul the Apostle enlighten again the Galatians no to go back to the law which makes void the work of Christ ~ thus we fall from Grace …
Gal 3:1 You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.
Gal 3:2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard?
Cast out the bond woman & her son… least you become persecuted by… her pride ~ human effort.
Relative post :
• Following the example of Christ..
• The beauty of scripture…
