How marvellous

The holy bible is an amazing book especially with the aid of the holy spirit who leads us into illumination for the benefit of growth, not for any sense of control

Over centuries the bible has been misused by western colonialism, slavery and self gain.
Praise be to God for reform, where men and women who has sought for clarity which has shaped the modern world today.

We are living in a time where no new teaching or prophecy is revealed accept for signs confirming the written word of God.

The dynamics of scripture that i believe is needed considering how false prophecy has effected and confused people & domination’s ~ is the need for “context of scripture”
Line upon line interpretation.

some thing to consider

1)How significant is Matthew 24 to our present time

2)Is this chapter relative to the church or Israel

3)Is the geographic of matthew 24 literal or symbolic

4)Who is referred as to the elect the church or Israel

The signs of the end are becoming more of a priority for believers studying Gods words but we need the guidance of the holy spirit ~ because the spirit of fear leads to judgement and self condemnation 1John 4:18 “as we know fear isn’t of God”.
We shouldn’t worry but rejoice & proclaim Christ with the assurance that our salvation is nearer than we ever though.

No matter how relevant we think scripture might appear to our time,
we still need to appreciate the context
& geographical locations of written prophecy ~ especially the sequence of events.
Like zechariah 12:1-9 seems like it’s very relevant to this time but we can see the signs are there

I believe this conflict will be the result when the peace treaty is broken between Israel & the nations during the great tribulation

Mat 24:28 Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

God will use Israel as bate for the nations as they will war against Gods elect…

Mat 24:29 “Immediately after the distress of those days “‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.

“At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory.

Israel will find their salvation through him who they pierced & mourn…
Zechariah 12:10

May we all pray for context regarding the truths of biblical prophecy less any be deceived.

  1. Great post! Couldn’t agree more. These are exciting times

    • I would love to hear your view on
matt 24 if you believe it’s related to the church or Israel…

      • I believe it is about both, because it is about time. The disciples questions were about time in verse 3. The cross reference to Matthew 24 is Daniel 9:24-27, they go hand and hand. Matthew 24 describes in more detail about Daniel 9. In response to Jesus’ statement about the temple the disciples ask him two questions and He goes on to answer those two questions from verse 4-31. The fig tree in verse 32 does not necessarily mean Israel (cf Matthew 21:18-22, Luke 21:29). Fig tree here is referencing seasons and coming end. Then in verse 36-44 is the reference to the Rapture. I believe this because of the illustration or type if you will of Noah and the flood. The flood was the last time God judged the world. The Tribulation will be a time for God to judge again. Matthew 24:42-44 is very reminiscent of 1 Thessalonians 5:2,3. The disciples do not know about the church at this point, but again it is about time and sequence of events. The disciples will be made aware of the mystery of the church later on. Jesus then shifts after verse 44 and on into chapter 25 in speaking in parables. The parables are designed to help them understand the times of things to come and what will be. Some of the parables apply to all Christians while others apply to only the Jews in the Tribulation. The content of each parable gives the clues. I hope that helps. 🙂
