Conflict Pt2

I recently wrote a post about the conflict Jesus had with the religious institution of his day The resentment of those religious leader encouraged false witness against Jesus which lead to his death •conflict Pt1

Conflict is some thing we deal with every day and how we manage determines the depth of our character.

Some example

Abraham ~ The conflict with Lot his nephew resulted in a separation but what I’ve learnt in this story conflict isn’t an argument just a difference of opinion. However Abraham valued lots interest as he gave him the right to choose which part of the land to dwell.

In any conflict we must ask ourselves who’s interest do we value because we can easily react out of selfish or defence pride.

End time prophecy teaches that believers will fall away as a sign of the coming of Christ however the bibles says

Mat 24:10 “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

We so need the fruit of the spirit as betrayal is a shameful factor I believe no one would want to be named or to be known as betraying your brother or sister in Christ.

Eph 4:3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Eph 4:4 there is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism
Eph 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Reframing conflict only becomes a personal opinion In need for some biblical context.

  1. Superb topic Peter. Conflict is one thing, but dealing with people who love trouble is another thing. With conflict you may be able to talk and negotiate.
    You can’t negotiate with connivance.

  2. And the conflict Jesus experienced in his day shows the type of personalities Jesus was dealing with. As you clearly put it all lead up to his death. Giving false witness in nowadays is called “Perverting The Course of Justice” to lead them away from the truth which is the light.
Let’s pray to the most high that we are steadfast in times of conflict and uncertainty.

    • What a great way to explain it Sean, many thanks!
As you said we must pray……
James 4 explains that conflict & war is the result of self seeking through one own ambition

Jam 4:1 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you?

Jam 4:2 You want something but don’t get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God.

Jam 4:3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

God bless you Sean for your commenting.

      • Their is an old phrase that says “Men is from Mars and Women is from Venus.”
There has been some much “conflict” even between man and woman which has lead to thought of “who knows the workings of a women’s mind?”
        (1 Timothy 5:8)
One issue is where the mother of a child deliberately refusing to let the child see their external family all because the mother do t want to. The mother should put the child’s needs first instead of hers as all this is likely to create conflict and poor relationship in the family. On the other side of the coin we then have fathers who find it difficult or impossible to see their child because the mother of his child has bad intentions and is HELL BENT on causing grief, trouble and torment (the enemy’s of progress)

      • You’ve read my argument on conflict, now here is my conclusion:
It’s not what you get into, it’s how you get out of it. Stay away from conflicts as its likely to drain your resources and energy, so try not to occupy your mind with the conflict rather be of a positive mental attitude and mindset.

Anything that can stop things is said to be recognised as a form of power, if you can stop conflict, you have one of the greatest gifts or abilities.
Maybe you possess this gift through experiencing conflict yourself and it’s impact can no longer harm you as you can simply turn it around.
Again brethren it’s not what we get into its how we get out of it…..
        God bless
        The High Priest

      • Well said, I’ll remember that important point brother, thanks.

      • The Police v Witchcraft Conflict
Another form of conflict brethren Peter is where the police arrest a criminal for a serious crime like murder and then the murderer uses witchcraft (juju) to instill fear in the witnesses to get off the case with a not guilty. The Metroplitan Police has identified this as a huge problem. If you Google “New Scotland Yard low conviction rates at trial due to witchcraft you can research it further.
(1 Samuel 15:23 KIng James Version)
For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft….

      • I hear that brother, how true.
