“All warfare is based on deception”

By: SUN TZU

In some cultures animal instinct is used as the basis for strategic warfare, as the bible also make references to animals, referring to people & personalities. There are times you may face cynicism that will oppose you.

Mat 10:16 I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.

Spiritual warfare is first of all spiritual. Their is also a psychological game at work “based on deception” under any level of spiritual conflict.

What we are up against in spiritual warfare?

An IDEOLOGY that possesses no substance of the truth just the “THOUGHT” to unsettle those who’s received some measure of the truth.

strategic understanding : Luke 10:16

So what do we understand about a sheep and a wolf ?
What can we take from a snake and a dove?

Wasn’t jesus illustrating strategy or strategic thinking?

Jesus was preparing his disciples for cynical men “Bitter & twisted with undigested pain” as we know the history of the church in the first & second century.

Some tips for spiritual warfare:

:The battle is the lords, save your strength :having done everything “stand ” No weapon formed against you would prosper .

As good attitude for warfare:

1)Sensory awareness – spiritual discernment

2) behavioural flexibility –meekness

3)managing your relationships – humility

4)respect for the general consensus – if two or more agree respect that agreement

Wisdom is found in the most unlikely places as we serve a limitless God, so look for it every where!

Luk 10:19.
I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

One Response

  1. Spiritual Warfare
    (Ephesians 6:12)
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Mentor Peter, to be wise in everyday affairs requires many tools such as reflection, bible study and good fellowship with an aim to share amongst the community.

Be confident, for Christ has defeated the darkness.
