Children and worship PT2

Worship isn’t just something we do or practice on a saturday and Sunday morning , Worship transcends any motion or expression to an attitude of reverence before God.
My experience of worship started in a pentecostal church predominately black church, lively, loud especially the music It was great at the time, now 21 years later my understanding of worship has been exposed to different denominational styles of Worship, the journey has cause me to question the real heart of worship!

Let me not stray from the point, how do we teach children to worship?

The bible says that we should sing praises with understanding . Ps 47:7
For God is the King of all the earth; Sing praises with understanding.

With my children me and my wife spend more time working on their understanding of worship more than just doing to the actions of worship.
The heart of worshipping God should be a savouring experience that effects our taste buds only to desiring more of God

Psa 34:8 Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

My strategy with my children is to allow them to dialogue with us and write down some points what they think about the subject matter or the song choice relating to worship but ultimately
Worship is about the way we life our lives and the impact of our relationship with God which effects our attitude toward people and things we deal with every day

The next session we’ll be looking at silence and worship what i call (brain training) for the worshipers.
